Carmen (she/her) is the most recent addition to Catalyst Legal LLP as a Legal Assistant. She has previous experience working in collections and foreclosure law. Carmen’s role is to be our first point of contact and to connect new and potential clients with our team of family lawyers. She assists our lawyers in drafting letters and pleadings, corresponding with other counsel, coordinating meetings and appointments, as well as opening and maintaining files. Carmen aims to provide exceptional support for each of our clients and assist in navigating the legal process.
In her spare time, Carmen enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and long strolls in local parks and trails.

I pursued Criminology and Legal Studies in university as I am passionate about equal access to justice and equity within the law. Further, family law is a specific area that continues to inspire and motivate me as it brings me joy to be of help to others and to build meaningful and trusting connections with clients.
I come from a diverse community and am deeply connected with my cultural roots; therefore, I understand how the intricacies of family law can affect various cultures and believe that this appreciation allows me to better understand and assist your journey.
